"Experience the sounds of summer with live performances by IB Waves Band and the Marine Band San Diego, delivering a mix of crowd favorites and patriotic classics that will have everyone celebrating together.
"As the day continues, take in the festive atmosphere, connect with your community, and reflect on the rich history and bright future of our nation. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky over the Imperial Beach Pier in honor of this historic milestone.

Imperial Beach Sun &amp; Sea Festival, San Diego’s largest sand sculpting festival, returns July 18 
Mark your calendars as the Sun &amp; Sea Festival returns this year, featuring a Masters sand carving competition on July 18, at Portwood Pier Plaza. Plans are underway for a street fair, and live entertainment throughout the day. Still to be determined is the children’s sand carving competition and a Friday night event. The City of Imperial Beach, with its perfect location and ideal weather, makes the Sun &amp; Sea Festival a not-to-be-missed family fun event.
