- The Imperial Beach City Council is expected to discuss whether to mandate COVID-19 vaccines for its employees. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
- Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday became the second governor in U.S. history to trample a recall effort to oust him from his post. In San Diego County, 58.6 percent of local voters said "no" to recalling the governor, while 41.4 percent voted to unseat him. (San Diego Patch)
- San Diego County has given awards to five teachers based in part on how they handled the sudden demands of giving online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. (San Diego Patch)
