Drug Take-Back Day Coming Up In Imperial Beach, Several Sites In San Diego Co.

Circle the date and clear out your medicine cabinets! All prescription medications accepted -- no questions asked!

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is collecting unwanted and expired prescription drugs at the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The collections sites will be open on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This service is free and anonymous. No questions asked! No sharps or needles accepted.

Unwanted or expired prescription drugs can be dangerous to the community by falling into the wrong hands. If you can't participate in Prescription Drug Take Back Day, you can always drop off unwanted prescriptions at any Sheriff's Station or Substation during normal business hours.
