'Renegade' Returns to Ring to Beat Mexico City Fighter Landeros

In his first bout since April, Emmanuel "Renegade" Robles beat Adolfo “Terror” Landeros Friday at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in San Diego.

Landeros landed firm hooks in later rounds but judges awarded the 60-53 win to Robles, according to fightnews.com.

Formerly of Imperial Beach, the match improved Robles overall record to 9-0-1.

Robles vs. Landeros was one of several fights at the event organized by Bobby D Presents, a boxing promotion company ran by Bobby DePhilippis of Filippi's Pizza Grotto.
