San Diego Bayfair

It's the 47th annual Air National Guard San Diego Bayfair on Mission Bay, where you can see bands that are soon to be big names for three days in a row.

More than 25 bands will be performing live, ranging from rock to hip-hop to reggae music. Each band will play a 45-minute set, showcasing their best songs in front of thousands of boating-racing fans.

A new band will perform every hour, starting Friday at 10 a.m.

The weekend will end with The Farmers perforamance at 2 p.m. Sunday.

San Diego Bayfair will also feature more than 120 of the world’s fastest boats, including the Air National Guard Hydroplane and Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing series. Kids can goof off in the kids' zone, families can eat up at various booths and adults can enjoy beer gardens.

Tickets start at $20 for a single-day pass and a three-day Super Pass is $45. Active military and reservists are admitted free with valid identification. Click here for detailed ticket information.

There will be shuttles running at various parking lots to take guests back and forth to the event.
