Limited-Time Rental Assistance for Homeless and Low-Income Earners in Imperial Beach
Know someone in Imperial Beach who is struggling to keep a roof over their head? This organization will pay their rent and security deposit.

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA: It is no secret that throughout San Diego county many residents suffer from several factors that affect their economic growth and status. Luckily, for residents in Imperial Beach, South Bay Community Services has a rental assistance program to benefit families or homeless individuals struggling financially.
Services will only be available to those residing in Imperial Beach until June 24. Tenants who decide to take advantage of the rental assistance will receive help paying two months of back rent as well as help with two months of current rent. SBCS’ will also assist homeless residents with two months of rent, move-in and rental application costs, and a security deposit of $1,000. The amount of rental assistance is dependent on the need of each client.
The housing assistance program will also provide supportive resources to low-income individuals and families who currently face difficult times. The rental assistance is part of SBCS’ Rapid Rehousing program, which provides individuals with housing search assistance, housing placement, housing stability, mediation, financial literacy and monthly case management. All clients will have access to a wide variety of programs including, shelter, transitional living and support services to develop self-sufficiency.

Potential clients must show proof of homeless documentation, proof of documentation as a resident of Imperial Beach, must be low-income and be able to pay a percentage of the monthly rent.
