Man Goes Missing From San Ysidro Home

Anyone who sees Jesus Ramirez was asked to immediately call San Diego police at 619-531-2000.

SAN YSIDRO, CA — San Diego police asked the public to be on the lookout Tuesday for a 76-year-old man who went missing from his San Ysidro home.

Police say Jesus Ramirez walked away from his residence in the 1800 block of Camino De Las Sonrisas at about 11 a.m. Tuesday and has not been seen since.

Ramirez, who suffers from dementia and diabetes, has a history of walking away from the home, according to police.

He is described as a 5-foot-4-inch Latino man who weighs about 140 pounds. He was wearing a green or blue T-shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap. He has a medium complexion, grayish brown hair and brown eyes.
