Man Killed In South Bay Crash Identified
The force of the crash on I-805 sent the man careening into a truck stopped in a nearby closed-off construction zone, officials said.
CHULA VISTA, CA – Officials have identified a man killed in a crash on Interstate 805 earlier this week.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-805 near Bonita Road.
The man, 55-year-old Victor Hugo Becerra Guevara, was driving north on the freeway in his Nissan pickup when he was struck by another vehicle, according to information from the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office and the California Highway Patrol.

Becerra Guevara was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a few hours after the crash.
