Remodeled South Bay Walmart Reopens

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA - From Walmart: Chula Vista residents will get their first look at the newly remodeled Walmart Store at 1150 Broadway on Friday, Oct. 13, as the much-anticipated project is completed. A grand reopening ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 7:30 a.m.

Customers will enjoy the following store improvements:

• State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays
• Remodeled pharmacy with private consultation room and additional service lanes
• New customer-friendly layout and expanded assortments in home and intimates
• Addition of self-checkouts to save customers time
• Enhanced infants’ department with easier access to everyday essentials such as diapers and formula
• Walmart Pickup relocated at the front of the store

“This remodel, along with our everyday low prices, represents our continued investment in Chula Vista,” said Store Manager Kim Sosa. “Listening to customers and incorporating the products they want is what it means to be a store of the community.”

Customers are invited to the grand reopening celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. There will be music, food samples, including pizza, hot dogs and fresh fruit, customer giveaways, including Marketside cookies and Keurig samples and activities for kids.
