ROGUE: The Complete Second Season on DVD
If you fell in love with ROGUE then prepare yourself for ROUGE: The Complete Second Season coming to DVD May 19th from Entertainment One.
Grace Travis (Thandie Newton) has become a handler for a corporate espionage FBI task force investigating a prostitution ring in San Francisco. When the woman she is handling disappears at the hands of criminal Cheat, Grace will stop at nothing to discover the truth.
To complicate matters, her mother Vivian (Clare Higgins) has returned into her life and Grace isn’t sure how she feels about it. She is still trying to deal with the death of her son and her feelings of responsibility. Elliot (Ruper Evans) proposes that Grace go undercover as the case, and their lives, grow more and more complicated.
Trust is a big thing with Grace and when Ethan (Cole Hauser) withholds information about the missing operative, she looks to make her next move. Charming or not, Ethan is more dangerous than Grace realizes.

Panic, money, spying and cover up’s and four determined soldiers who are all lead up to a shocking finale that Grace couldn’t see coming.
Newton as Grace once again brings an intensity that is so very well done. Recently seen on the television series THE SLAP, it is her role as Grace Travis that gives her dramatic street cred. Still working out the intense issues in Season One, this season just adds fuel to an already intense fire building to a dramatic finale. Newton is a BAFTA and SAG winner and deservedly so.

Higgins as Vivian tries to help her daughter but clearly isn’t the coddling type, well neither is Grace for that matter. Evans as Elliot knows he must send Grace into danger but, as does the audience, knows that it has to happen for the case to move forward.
Hauser as Ethan is just devilishly handsome, rugged and extremely dangerous. There are moments where this actor is looking straight at someone and I can’t help but look away. Yes, it’s that scary craziness that makes the character of Ethan so mysterious – yea, it’s awesome. Check out The Lizzie Borden Chronicles on Lifetime to see more of Hauser.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give ROGUE: The Complete Second Season four tubs of popcorn out of five. This season has bite to it and the cast goes deeper into their characters. ROGUE brought twists and turns it its first season and the second brings even more.
I love Newton’s character and she brings it to the screen beautifully. She gives Grace depth, but with an intensity that lets you know straight out that she’s not to be trifled with. That brings the show credibility and Hauser brings on the bad guy with equal intensity.
Sometimes it’s hard to review a series like this because talking to much about it gives the plots away and with ROGUE that would be a sin and I’m not about to commit it. Trust me when I say this is a DVD worthy of all fans who are starving to watch an extremely a good series.
In the end – she must break the case before it breaks her!
