San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Felony Hit And Run With Injury - Vista

At approximately 5 p.m., Deputies responded to a call of a vehicle running over a pedestrian in the parking lot of the AutoZone located at 950 S. Santa Fe Ave in the city of Vista.  A Hispanic male adult was discovered pinned underneath a Toyota pickup truck.  The unidentified driver of the vehicle fled the scene prior to Deputy arrival.  Vista Fire Department successfully extracted the victim from underneath the truck.  The victim was transported to Palomar Hospital via air ambulance with unknown injuries.  The investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has any information about this incident, please call the Sheriff's Vista Patrol Station at (760) 940-4551.  People can also call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 with information and will remain anonymous.  You may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to a felony arrest.
