San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Homicide - Imperial Beach

On Monday October 11, 2021 at 12:14 p.m., deputies responded to the 1100 block of Donax Avenue in the City of Imperial Beach for a report of a subject who was lying on the ground.  Upon arrival, deputies found a 55-year-old man suffering from trauma to his head.  The victim was unresponsive and deputies began CPR.  Paramedics arrived a short time later and took over the lifesaving measures.  The victim was transported to UCSD Medical Center.  Unfortunately, the victim did not survive his injuries. While the investigation is ongoing, there does not appear to be any outstanding suspects.
