Shooting Deaths Of Bonita Couple Ruled Murder-Suicide
The deaths of a couple found gunned down at their home near Sweetwater Regional Park on Thanksgiving were a murder-suicide, officials said.
SAN DIEGO — The deaths of a retirement-age couple found gunned down at their home near Sweetwater Regional Park on Thanksgiving were a case of murder-suicide, authorities reported Tuesday.
A concerned family member who had not heard from Laura and Noel Koller for several days discovered their bodies in their house in the 5500 block of Pray Street in Bonita shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, according to sheriff's officials.
Autopsies determined that Noel Koller, 85, shot his 86-year-old wife, then turned the gun on himself, Lt. Michael Blevins said.
