But they need more this time as Bumblebee returns to help the Rescue Bots. When things begin to look bleak, the tables turn as Optimus Prime returns to lead them once again!

FINAL WORD: There is absolutely nothing not to like about the series and TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS: Return of the Heroes. The storyline is amazing, the animation is riveting to watch and hey, let’s face it – it’s TRANSFORMERS!

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS: Return of the Heroes four tubs of popcorn out of five. Seriously, this series continues to be a winner time and time again and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.

There is a fan base here that loves the animated series all the way to the feature films. I have to admit that if my sons hadn’t loved the series when they were kids, I probably wouldn’t have given this a second thought. But Transformers brought them joy then and continues to bring the next generation a chance to experience Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Each episode reinforces friendship, loyalty and protecting those who need it. Pretty awesome values if you ask me.

The DVD includes Bumblebee To the Rescue, Bot to the Future, A Virtual Disaster, Changes, Rise of the Heroes. With over 110 minutes of animated storytelling, this DVD is just another awesome addition to the Transformer library in any home.

In the end – we always need our heroes!
