• Study: BNP Paribas Open generates $887 million economic impact for Coachella Valley (kesq.com) — A new study finds the 2026 BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells Tennis Garden pumped an estimated $887 million into the Coachella Valley economy, supporting more than 12,700 full-time-equivalent jobs and $55 million in tax revenue. For Indian Wells residents, that means the tournament’s record 527,000-plus fans and heavy visitor spending are a major driver of local jobs, public revenue, and nonprofit support. 
• Pollstar Live! 2027 To Take Place In April In Greater Palm Springs Area (pollstar.com) — A major live-entertainment industry conference is coming to Indian Wells next April, bringing three days of panels, keynotes, and networking between the Coachella festival weekends. Organizers say more details on the host hotel and speakers are coming soon, but the dates are already locked for April 13–15, 2027. Expect an influx of industry visitors and related business activity around town.

- I loved everything but asked if they can make a flat bagel which is called on the east coast a Flagel or Flat Bagel it doesn't have all the dough in between the bagel shell.
i ordered the jalapeno bagel and it was good but too much. If it would have been served on a Flagel bagel t would have been excellent. (Nextdoor Desert Horizons)
