• Dirt bike rider leads police on erratic chase through Los Angeles County (krqe.com) — A dirt bike rider wanted for allegedly brandishing a firearm led police on a dangerous, high-speed chase across Los Angeles County that ended near 111th Place in Inglewood. After racing through neighborhoods, parks, and busy streets, he abandoned the bike in an Inglewood residential area, tried hiding in a trash can, and was ultimately arrested.
• Outrage as Los Angeles voters shut out of mayoral debate livestream: 'Insane' (amedpost.com) — Angelenos trying to watch the only scheduled LA mayoral debate online were blocked when the Zoom webinar hit its capacity, leaving many frustrated that such a key event wasn't widely accessible. The debate, hosted by Sherman Oaks groups, comes as Mayor Karen Bass and Councilmember Nithya Raman head toward the Nov. 3 runoff, with Bass recently appearing at an Intuit Dome event in Inglewood.
