• Northstate volunteer fire crews win $20,000 total to upgrade aging equipment (krcrtv.com) — Isleton Fire Department is getting a $10,000 grant to replace or upgrade critical equipment, part of a national State Farm program supporting small volunteer departments. Two Northstate fire agencies are also receiving funds, helping crews buy safer gear, medical tools, and communication devices they might otherwise struggle to afford.
