• Small plane crashes near Knights Landing in Yolo County, pilot hospitalized (sacbee.com) — A small single-engine plane crashed Thursday morning just southwest of Knights Landing, sending the lone pilot to the hospital and drawing a response from Yolo County authorities. The Cessna 172N went down along County Road 14 about two miles from town, and federal investigators from the FAA and NTSB are now handling the crash investigation.
