• Brush Fire in La Habra Heights That Destroyed Three Homes Under Investigation (mynewsla.com) — A destructive brush fire in La Habra Heights burned about 17 acres, destroyed three homes, damaged others, and injured a resident and a firefighter, prompting evacuations and an emergency shelter at Los Altos High School. Fire crews from La Habra Heights and Los Angeles County contained the blaze by evening, and investigators are now working to determine what sparked it.
