All Aboard: The Summer Beach Bus Starts Today
Here's a handy schedule for everything you need to know about the La Cañada and La Crescenta summer beach bus, which takes riders from the foothills to Santa Monica Beach.
If the pool just isn’t cutting it or if you’re itching to get sand stuck between your toes, you’re in luck. The La Crescenta and La Cañada-Flintridge Summer Beach Bus returns Tuesday, offering up a cheap ride to Santa Monica Beach four days a week. The transportation is sponsored by the and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.

DATES:
- June 21 to September 5
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The bus will also run on Labor Day.
ROUNDTRIP FARE: (Bus requests exact fare)

- $3.00 for adults and children
- $1.50 for senior citizens 60+ with i.d.
- $1.50 persons with disabilities
