Come join the President of the La Canada Junior Women's Club (LCJWC), Carole Swemline, and one of the Membership Directors, Jenny Sullivan for coffee on Friday, Oct. 12 to learn more about LCJWC. For over 40 years, LCJWC has provided assistance to women and children in our community. The club provides social events, supply drives and fundraisers to help The Ronald McDonald House across from the Huntington Hospital and the Haven House in Pasadena. "We could use a few more friendly and dynamic women to help us," stated Swemline. "We have many exciting projects slated for this year." The meet-and-greet coffee is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Jill Weinlein's house, 1267 Inverness Drive, La Canada. Applications will be on hand at the coffee and are due on Oct. 12.
