Patch Blog: Rounding Up Fun at the LCFCC Preschool
Smiling kids, farm animals, cotton candy and a great silent auction were part of the fun at the annual Western Round-Up at the La Canada Community Center.
Families in La Cañada and the surrounding communities gathered Saturday at the annual Western Round-Up located at the OK Corral in the and parking area.
Pony Rides, carnival game booths, a petting zoo and face/hair painting were some of the popular activities throughout the day.
Families gathered at communal tables to eat a BBQ lunch by Schreiner’s Fine Sausages for lunch.

While children slid down an inflatable slide and nibbled on cotton candy, parents roamed the Silent Auction rooms to bid on theatre tickets, sporting events, restaurant certificates and baskets filled with wonderful treasures.
The money raised helps make improvements in the classroom. It’s also used for music, garden programs and shows.

The school year begins in September to June. Children must be three-years-old and potty trained to enroll into the program. To apply to the preschool, contact The the school’s Director, Danielle Capuro (818) 790-8687.
