A unified command of fire response was able to stop the forward progress of the fire at roughly 11:10 AM but hot, dry winds remain a concern. Information regarding the vehicle and passengers has not yet been released. As of 11:18 AM Angeles Crest Highway is closed to through traffic from Foothill Boulevard to Upper Big Tujunga Canyon.
