City Alert 12, La Cañada Flintridge County DPH Reimposes Certain Closures

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (DPH) issued a revision to the "Safer at Work and in the Community" Health Order.

Given the continued increase of COVID-19 hospitalizations and positive testing rates, on Wednesday, July 01, 2020, the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (DPH) issued a revision to the “Safer at Work and in the Community” Health Order, effective immediately.

The revised order reimposes certain restrictions, and requires the immediate, temporary closure of the following services/sectors:

Cardrooms, satellite wagering facilities and racetrack onsite wagering facilities,

All restaurants, but only for indoor, in-person onsite dining (take out, delivery, and outdoor onsite table dining is permitted),

Indoor portions/exhibits of museums, zoos and aquariums (outdoor portions may remain open),

Business Practices

If an owner, manager, or operator of any business knows of three (3) or more cases of COVID-19 among their employees within a span of 14 days, the employer must report this outbreak to the DPH at (888) 397-3993 or (213) 240-7821.

If an employee has tested positive for, or has symptoms consistent with COVID-19, the employer must have a protocol to require the case(s) to isolate themselves at home and require the immediate self-quarantine of all employees that had a workplace exposure to the case(s).
