Flags Stolen from Nearby Church

Someone stole four flags and flag poles from St. Luke's of the Mountains Church, near the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Rosemont Avenue.

You may be have noticed that the historic, stone-set church has something missing: four flags and poles. 

Vicar Bryan Jones reported the stolen flags and poles to sheriff's deputies on May 20, according to Sheriff's Capt. Dave Silversparre of the . 

The items went missing sometime between May 19 and May 20, officials said.

There are no known suspects and no witnesses were located, Silversparre said.

The church raised money to replace the missing church property, Ynada said.

"By Pentacost the flags will be flying colorfully once again," Ynada said.
