On Wednesday, November 13, “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown,” Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy’s fall musical, opened to rave reviews. Based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz, “You’re A Good Man …” follows Charlie Brown and his gang for one day while Charlie Brown tries to find out if he’s truly a “good man.” Of course, the usual hijinks occur along the way.
The cast included senior Danielle Hart (Sally Brown), senior Roxi Giuliano (Lucy van Pelt), junior Carly Spina (Snoopy), freshman Sofia Gonzalez (Schroeder), junior Madeline Stauffer (Linus van Pelt), sophomore Tate Scofield (Woodstock) and sophomore Cailynne Knabensue (Little Red Headed Girl), and sophomore Dylan Neil starred as Charlie Brown. A number of other students made up the chorus, dancers and crew.
“You’re A Good Man …” was directed by Mark Bommarito, FSHA’s theatre instructor, and Ben Coria, FSHA’s Visual and Performing Arts Chair, provided musical direction.
