Hoverboarding Mail Thief Targets La Cañada Flintridge Home
The video, posted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept., shows the man peeking into a mailbox before gliding away on a hoverboard.

LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – Authorities are asking for the public's help Tuesday to identify a hoverboard-riding suspect who stole mail from a La Cañada Flintridge residential mailbox. The theft occurred about 4:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of White Deer Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.
In video released by investigators Monday, the mail thief, who is riding a hoverboard and wearing a hoodie and a stocking cap, stopped at a mailbox, removed the contents, then rolled off. Anyone who recognizes him was urged to call the sheriff's Crescenta Valley Station at (818) 248-3464.
