Things are still not set at the quarterback position, as both Matt Jones and Grant Owen each traded snaps. Running back Kevin Stoner had a solid outing as well and chances are he might be atop the depth chart come the start of the season. Defensively, Glenn Johnston and Kyle Herron looked like a good pass rushing combo Saturday. The Spartans begin their season Sept. 9 at Alhambra.
