Spartan Artists Exhibit their Talents

LCHS celebrates National Fine Arts month by showcasing students' artwork in the auditorium.

La Cañada High School's auditorium morphed into a multi-facted art museum this week, featuring the works of some 250 students ranging from ninth to 12th grade. Seniors in the Art Portfolio class displayed their pieces across an entire wall. Proud students and even prouder parents filled the space Thursday night. The show represented classes from Art Foundations to Advanced Art. Items included hand crafted ceramics, definitive photographs, colorful paintings, finely detailed drawings, digital drawings, animations, collages, and even a rack of what looked like high-end clothing.
