I was lucky enough to attend the Glendale YWCA Legacy Luncheon today at Oakmont Country Club where 108-year old Gertrude Ness was honored for a lifetime of community service and leadership and 18-year old Jenna Schwartz from La Canada High School was honored for her 1000 hours of inspiring charity work in the last three years alone! 90 years difference in age yet one heart for helping others. Congratulations to Gertrude and Jenna...and thank you!
Gertrude sounds like living proof that doing good is good for you--check out this article!
