LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Looking for the best place to watch fireworks this 4th of July? In Laguna Beach, look no further than the City Fireworks that will be launched from Heisler Park's Monument Point.

Fireworks will begin promptly at 9 p.m. and can be seen from across Laguna Beach.

"Monument Point will be closed all day on the 4th of July," the City of Laguna Beach spokesperson said in recent release.

Starting at 12 p.m., Heisler park from Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public for much anticipated fireworks prep.

"The city fireworks show will start at 9 p.m.," they said.

A few tips about spending your 4th of July in Laguna Beach:

  • Arrive early for parking and hop on the free trolley.
  • Please note: the free trolley will have limited service, running 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Laguna Art-A-Fair and Sawdust Art & Craft Festival will also have limited hours until 6 p.m. on the 4th of July.
  • Watch the light show from the lap of luxury at one of these locations. All have special dining and viewing options available.
  • Share your pictures with the hash-tag: #MyLagunaBeach for a chance to have your photo featured on Laguna Beach's social accounts
  • The City of Laguna Beach does NOT allow handheld fireworks of any kind anywhere in town.
