LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents can expect powerful waves this weekend, after the National Weather Service issued a Beach Hazards Statement for the Orange County coast Friday.
Residents will likely see four- to seven-foot waves generated from an incoming west-northwest swell, the service said. The highest surf is expected as west-facing beaches, especially in San Diego County.
The Beach Hazards Statement is in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon, the service said.
