America's First Rally Protester Pleads Guilty To Battery
A Laguna Beach rally attendee pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of battery, Friday.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — During the heated 'America's First' Rally in Laguna Beach, one man openly attacked another leading to his arrest. On Friday, the Ohio resident pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of battery according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
Richard Daniel Losey, of Lancaster, Ohio, was sentenced with spending 30-days in County jail, followed by three years of informal probation, OCDA said in release.
Losey of Lancaster, Ohio, sucker-punched another man who was peacefully speaking with a group of people, Laguna Beach Police Department Sgt. Jim Cota said.

Though Losey fled the scene before officers arrived, the attack was caught on video and published on various media and social media sites, Cota said.
The victim contacted the Laguna Beach Police Department Monday and reported that he was physically assaulted during the rally by a counter-protester.
