LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Police were investigating in Downtown Laguna Beach after bomb threat shut down Main Beach Saturday afternoon, police said.
The bomb threat was apparently reported shortly after 4:30 p.m., according to police.
According to StuNewsLaguna, the bomb was said to have been buried in the sand on Main Beach.
The threat triggered evacuations Saturday afternoon in Laguna Beach as police investigate the incident.
Residents were urged to avoid the area of 600 S. Coast Highway to Ocean Avenue as a result of the investigation.
