LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Another Laguna Beach restaurant is closing its doors, but not from lack of business.
La Sirena Grill will close its South Laguna Beach location on Sunday, Sept. 20, after more than two decades of service across from Montage Laguna Beach.
In a note posted at the restaurant's doors, the Cortellessa family said its lease was ending, and that the restaurant had been unable to negotiate on new terms, Laguna Beach Unfiltered first reported.
The restaurant, known for its tasty Mexican food and margaritas, has operated in Laguna Beach since 1999.
While the South Laguna location may be closing, residents can still satisfy their La Sirena cravings by visiting its original location at 347 Mermaid St. in downtown Laguna Beach.
