Artists Sought For New Installation In Laguna Beach

The city is seeking an artist to create a temporary sculpture or stage-floor mural installation at the Promenade on Forest. What to know.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Are you a creative mind looking for your next project? The Laguna Beach Arts Commission issued a call for artists as the city seeks to have a temporary sculpture or mural installed at the performance stage of the Promenade on Forest.

According to the arts commission, submissions should highlight sea-life conservation, as well as Laguna Beach's role in promoting those ideals. Commissioners urge entries to utilize recycled or repurposed materials, according to the city's website.

Installations must be durable, appropriate for a safe to the public and not interfere with the ability to perform live music on the stage.
