Beach Sunsets Are Our Moment Of Zen

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — This week, Orange County has gone through a fast-forward series of changes.

While our city, state, and federal officials have grappled with how to best handle the new coronavirus, at home, there is still the sand, the crashing surf, and the call of seabirds.

Feeding hummingbirds is one of those things we can all do to make the world a better place. Seeing this one, hovering over Catalina Island in the distance, gave this Patch editor a lovely moment of peace during a troubling week.
