Big Rig Crash Stalls 405 Northbound At Sand Canyon

IRVINE, CA — A collision between a big rig semi truck and a gray Honda has backed up traffic for miles, according to California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Northbound traffic is slow and go from the 5-Freeway, the northbound 405 merge past Laguna Canyon Road, the 133 merge to the 405 northbound, beyond Jeffrey Road as of 9:30 a.m.

It is not known what caused the collision at the time of this report.
