Body Found in Santa Ana Refrigerator

Police have not yet determined if the the remains belong to a man or woman.

Homicide investigators were called to a house in Santa Ana today when human remains were found in a refrigerator, a police corporal said.

Police were summoned to the home in the 1000 block of North Jackson Street this afternoon, Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.

“We don’t what it is -- whether it’s a man or a woman or a homicide or someone died and they dumped the body in there and didn’t want to bury them,” Bertagna said.
