Bridge Honoring Fallen Officer To Be Unveiled In Laguna Beach
Residents were invited to honor a Laguna Beach Police Officer who lost his life when his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A Memorial Bridge honoring Laguna Beach Police Officer Jon Coutchie will be unveiled this September, and residents were urged to be a part of the commemoration.
The unveiling ceremony, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, will honor the life and legacy of the officer after he was killed on duty when his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck in 2013.
The ceremony will be held by the City of Laguna Beach, the Laguna Beach Police Department and State Senator Janet Nguyen.

The ceremony takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 at Aliso Creek Bridge, 31122 Coast Highway.
