Car Slams Light Pole In Laguna Beach, DUI Arrest Made

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — One woman was arrested in this week after the car she was driving in crashed into a light pole, the Laguna Beach Police Department reported.

The woman, who was not identified by authorities, was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence.

"This driver thought she was headed to the North Pole. Unfortunately, she hit the light pole instead," a LBPD spokesperson wrote on Facebook. "Christmas, like any holiday, isn’t an excuse to drink and drive."
