City Council Candidate Forum Scheduled In Laguna Beach

Residents will hear from the seven candidates vying for three seats on the Laguna Beach City Council Sept. 15.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents will have the chance to learn about the candidates running for this year's city council election on Sept. 15, the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce said in a statement.

The Chamber, in partnership with the Laguna Beach Board of Realtors and KX FM 104.7, will host the 2022 City Council Candidate Forum on Thursday, Sept. 15.

At the forum, residents will have the chance to learn more about the seven candidates vying for the three seats on the dais. Candidates will introduce themselves, as well as their stances on topics important to Laguna Beach voters.

The forum will be professional moderated by KX FM's Mornings With Ed host, Ed Steinfeld, and General Manager Alyssa Hayek, according to a Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce statement.

"It's vital that voters get clear and complete answers to questions about the issues the community cares about most, so they can make the most informed decision when voting," Steinfeld said in a statement.

The forum will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 15 inside the Council Chambers at Laguna Beach City Hall, with limited seating available.

Residents can also tune into the forum on COX channel 852 and KX FM 104.7 FM.
