The fire was reported at 9:13 a.m. Wednesday in Laguna Beach, authorities said.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A fire broke out on Coast Highway in Laguna Beach Wednesday morning, the Laguna Beach Police Department reported.

The fire broke out around 9:13 a.m. inside a building on North Coast Highway near Myrtle Avenue, police said.

Traffic was being diverted from the fire, which remained active as of 9:23 a.m.
