Ditch The Documents At Shredding Event In Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach residents and businesses can destroy their sensitive documents during the free event on Nov. 18.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Do you have sensitive documents that you've been needing to shred? On Nov. 18, the City of Laguna Beach is hosting a shredding event for all residents and businesses.
The event is an opportunity for residents to securely destroy their confidential documents, free of charge.
Residents and businesses in Laguna Beach can bring up to 10 banker-size file boxes worth of paper records for immediate shredding. Documents should be free of binders, paperclips, plastic sleeves and metal butterfly clips. Wet or water-damaged documents will not be accepted.

To participate in the event, no registration is required — though the city asked residents to remain in their vehicles until serviced.
Residents wishing to participate in the event were asked to bring proof of residence, according to the city.

The shredding event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday at City Parking Lot 10, 725 Laguna Canyon Road.
