Dwayne Johnson Gets Rock Star Treatment By Laguna Cops

LAGUNA BEACH, CA —This week, Laguna Beach Police Department was called to a unique detail for an on-location shoot of the HBO series "Ballers," starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Renewed for a 5th season, Johnson stars as Spenser Strasmore, sports agent, who helps his clients with the perils and pitfalls that go along with living in the public's eye.

These officers had the lucky opportunity to act as security for Johnson, during the on location for this show.

"Like this guy needs security!" Sgt. Jim Cota of Laguna Beach Police Department joked over Twitter.

We're not sure what they were up to on set in Laguna beach, though officers did notice something tasty was cooking in the back-lot area.

Johnson joked back with officers over Twitter, replying, "Mahalo for the compliment, but I always need security."

He also alluded to his return to Laguna for future episodes, commenting he would "see you down the road."

So, residents, be on the lookout for Johnson to return to Laguna Beach!
