El Moro Elementary Student Places In Surf Competition
A local El Morro Elementary student placed int he NSSA Southwest Surfing Tour.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Growing up beach side has its benefits.
El Morro Elementary student Hudson Saunders of Laguna Beach came in second in the Feb. 26 NSSA Southwest Open Surfing Tour at Salt Creek Beach.
"Hudson competes in the under 11 division and is currently ranked fourth after seven events," The Indy reported his father, Don Saunders as saying.

He is currently the highest ranked Laguna Beach surfer in all of the NSSA age divisions, according to his father.
