Encampments In Laguna Beach Cleared, Thanks To LBPD

The Laguna Beach Police Department teamed up with Orange County Parks to clear several encampments found in the city.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach trails just got a little safer, after authorities cleared out several large encampments embedded in the brush areas along Laguna Canyon Road.

The clean-up was initiated by Laguna Beach Police Department park rangers and OC Parks this week, police said.

According to authorities, drones were used to identify encampment spots before authorities hiked into the brush to make contact and clear the encampments.
