Laguna Dance Festival presents three amazing dance performances on the Laguna Playhouse stage. Nationally renowned Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago share a stunning program on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Orange County’s own Backhausdance performs on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Festival includes a free dance sampler during First Thursdays Art Walk on Sept. 6 at 6:30 at Laguna Art Museum, a Sept. 9 master class taught by Glenn Edgerton, artistic director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and two pre-show talks by artistic directors - Friday at 6:30 with Jenny Backhaus and Sunday at 1 p.m. with Mr. Edgerton.
