Explosive Tossed Into Truck Bed; Police Seek To ID Suspect
Laguna Beach detectives are looking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted for detonating an explosive device.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach police sought the public's help Thursday in identifying several suspects who tossed an explosive device into the bed of a parked truck, causing damage.
The incident was reported on Monday, Sept. 2, at 10:48 p.m., when the suspects driving a 2022 or 2024 white Mercedes EQS threw an "improvised explosive device" into the bed of a parked pickup truck, near the intersection of Coast Highway and West Street.
The device exploded, causing major damage to the truck. The suspects then fled the scene, authorities said.

According to witnesses, three or four males were have said to have been in the vehicle.
