Free Summer Movie Series Starts Thursday In Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach residents of all ages were encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets and refreshments for Thursday's screening of "Trolls."

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Are you on the hunt for a family-friendly activity this summer? Look no further.

The City of Laguna Beach is bringing back its Summer Movie Nights, and residents can join in on the fun starting Thursday, June 27 with a screening of "Trolls" at Alta Laguna Park.

The series will continue with a July 25 showing of "Goonies" at Heisler Park starting before concluding on Aug. 22 with a screening of "Ratatouille" at the LB Community & Susi Q Center.

Residents were encouraged to bring beach chairs, snacks, drinks and blankets to the screenings.

Thursday's screening starts when the sun sets at Alta Laguna Park, 3300 Alta Laguna Dr.
